164mm x 54 (6 1/2 x 54) Double Robusto, Box of 10/25 – Edicion Limitada 2004. Rolled at El Laguito with 2+ year aged maduro wrapper.

 

One of the most legendary ELs ever, now 21 years aged.

 

Tasting Profile – Aged 2026:

 

1st Third: Opens smooth, not aggressive. Cedar-forward, dark chocolate 70%, roasted coffee, toasted peanut. Maduro sweetness on lips. Medium-full strength right away, cool smoke.

 

2nd Third: Where it shines. Torpedo concentration effect. Waves of espresso, dried figs, leather, earthiness, mocha. Some report rum & raisin, nutmeg, cinnamon, mineral / wet slate note. Complex transitions, very balanced. Draw should be controlled with slight resistance.

 

Final Third: Cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, deep dark chocolate, aged leather, old cedar, roasted nuts. Long tobacco finish. No harsh bitterness if smoked slow – unlike young Cohibas. Retrohale is floral + oaky.

 

Construction: Firm bunch, no soft spots, relaxed foot = good draw. Ash light grey with black lines. Some examples had filler hole causing uneven burn that needs correction. 90-120 min smoke
